Creating a Custom piece need not be daunting
nor expensive, we can make the process easy and enjoyable.
We provide a personal service from the initial consultation to
the delivery of the finished work. Each custom design is an original piece of art,
created exclusively for the individual client, never to be
duplicated. Every step of the creative process from original
line art to finished pieces of Jewelry is done by
us. To begin, a potential client should familiarize
themselves with our work found on these webpages. This will give
you an idea of our general design style as well as inspire some
ideas for the creation of your concepts. Look closely at pieces
that are of the same type as you are interested in.

Creating an Original
Rough Design to Finished Jewelry
In creating custom designs, we will begin
by developing line art drawings from your original design ideas.
Consulting with you until a design is decided upon. Take into
account our style of work and realize that we can not step into
the art style of another artist. Upon the selection of the
final design, a final price and time schedule is arranged, a
deposit made, and the work scheduled. Remember also that as much
as we would like it to be, design time is not free. Exact time
figures to completion vary depending on size and complexity of
the project. Major modification will be made only after
consultation with the client. Urweg reserves the right to make
minor modifications to the selected basic layout, as are
determined to be consistent with good design and quality
workmanship.
Upon acceptance of the art, the client agrees to provide an
amount equal to 50% of the total cost of the project. Or a
portion as agreed to in advance.
This includes the cost of the design work already
completed. The balance is due upon completion. The quoted
price of each custom design includes all artwork, molds, masters
and originals paid for by the client, excluding copyrights on
Urweg original Art. Should final payment not be received
within ninety (90) days, or as previously arranged, the
completed design, object(s), mold(s), master(s) and art
remain the property of Urweg, and any deposit made is
forfeit.
Urweg retains full copyrights to the design(s) of its original
art and art metalwork. No commercial reproduction. The
customer agrees to allow photographs of the finished project to
be used in any future promotions by Urweg or its
associates.
Urweg strives to produce the highest
quality pieces of enduring Jewelry. All custom designs created
by URWEG are created to be durable and of
professional quality. We guarantee our workmanship and
materials for one year under normal use and care.
