These Pagan Lunnitsa (Crescent Shaped, Lune) Pendants are decorated in a technique known as Granulation. The Beads are handcrafted from Silver filigree spirals and saucer beads. Pendants and Beads are based on finds from Gnezdovo. Gnezdovskoye (present Gnezdovo) settlement is supposed to be the place of the first Rus city. The Gnezdovo barrows are the world's largest heathen cemetery. Kievan Rus Culture (X - XII centuries).

Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson (1924-1993)
A farmer from Dragháls in Borgarfjörður, Island, better known as the Allsherjargoði (supreme head) of the official Icelandic Ásatráarfélagið (Ásatru). Devoted to the survival of the Heathen religion of pre-christian Iceland. In 1972, after a long battle with the Ministry of Justice & Ecclesiastical Affairs, Sveinbjörn received official recognition for Ásatráarfélagið as a religious body. The first non-christian group to receive such rights for over a thousand years.
