So you'd like to order something from us?  Well, best thing to do would be to send us an email  and let us know your exact wishes.
We like to have  contact with our customers, so no "carts" here!  Simply itemize each piece including sizes, styles and other variables. This is the quickest and best way to insure that your personal order is received, confirmed, and properly recorded.  You may also order using snail mail.  Prices listed are payable in US Dollars and include tax, so totals should be be easy to calculate.

Shipping is free for all US orders over $75, and $4 for all orders under $75. We ship by US Postal Service,  Insured, for the value of the contents. Regular mail to Canada is free for all orders above $100, and $4 for all orders below $100. If you are interested in any other or additional services, you can calculate
shipping services to your particular destination from zip code 81201 by going to http://postcalc.usps.gov/ .

Over Seas Mail
service to most other foreign countries starts at about $4 for
first class mail. Global Priority starts at $11 for a  medium sized parcel and takes anywhere from 4 to 14 days for delivery. Please note that Global Priority Mail includes an individual Package Label Number, but no insurance. Insurance can be added to most countries. Payment:
We have two (2) Payment options: You may make Payment either by sending a check or money order made out to Birte Nellessen, P.O. Box 482, Salida, Colorado 81201. Personal checks must be printed with your name, address and account number.  A minimum deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required on all orders, especially on custom sized and/or commissioned work. The balance may be paid before delivery or the order can be sent C.O.D. for an additional $8.00.  Or ... PayPal: Payments through our secure PayPal service may be made once your order and pricing are confirmed. With this convenient, online service you may transfer money from your Bank Account or by using most credit or debit cards to our email address (urweg@urweg.com).  Please add an additional 5% to your total for this service.

Foreign Customers: Unfortunately, our local Banks are unpredictable in fees charged to process foreign checks (a side effect of living in a small Rural Community), so we have a policy of payment in U.S. Dollars by either Cash or Check or Money Order drawn on a U.S. Bank. Canadian customers may use Postal Money Orders (in $ US).  

Notification of payments received will be sent by email. In the same way, you will also be notified of the date and delivery confirmation number when your order is shipped out. Snail mail orders will be shipped within our regular delivery time. We ship all orders via US Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation, unless otherwise requested.

Delivery
time is usually  1 - 3 weeks after all details have been settled. Custom-made pieces may take longer.  In-stock items usually ship out next day once payment has been received or verified. 

Return policy: We like for our customers to be pleased with their orders, so orders returned in good condition within 7 days of receipt will be refunded or exchanged less the shipping costs. This does not apply to custom or special order pieces. If returning an item, it is advisable to send it at least with delivery confirmation, if not insured. Refunds or exchanges will be issued within 7 days of receipt of items. 

Returned Checks/Service Charges: Customers Checks which are returned unpaid for ANY reason will incur a $20.00 service charge.

Shortage & Damage Claims: Shortage & damage claims must be made within three (3) days of receipt of shipment. Please inspect the package thoroughly and report any damage before you sign for it. Discuss damages with the Carrier  as soon as possible.  

Guarantee: All  craftsmanship, and materials are guaranteed by URWEG for one year, under normal use and care.
